Recently test drove the CB1100 and it is a VERY likeable machine! Smooth as silk with a torquey motor. Handles well but is not a sport bike (thankfully).
Up for sale is a 2007 Yamaha FZ-1. I will assume an interested buyer will already know the basic factory specs but I will list all the modifications I know of below. Frankly, this is too much bike for the riding I typically do and I just don’t need this much horsepower. I live in Rural SWVA...
I bought my first handgun about 25 years ago. It was a Ruger redhawk in 44 Magnum. Damn near tore my arm off. Went right out and bought another one so I could have two! One thing led to another...1911's, revolvers, EAA's...started reloading....began competing in IPSC, USPSA, NRA Action...
I have the Puig touring in clear. Seems like a decent shield but is better than the stock. One thing I did notice though was that changing helmets made a noticeable difference. Went from a Simpson Bandit to a HJC FS-10 and that bumpy-lumpy airflow on my helmet (6'1") in near all gone. Dennis...
Bookmarked those recipes. I will post my spouse's reaction to this "new to us" version of the hamburger when the weather warms up a bit (grill is outside). Again, many thanks!
Many thanks for your reply. Beetroot in a tin (can) is typically pickled here in the states. They are also sold raw as pulled from the ground in the produce sections of grocery stores. Americans are quite fond of pickled cucumbers (called pickles) on hamburgers. However, in 50 years of...
Hi Scotty,
I have a question for you about the beetroot that folks down under put on hamburgers. Are the beets pickled, plain cooked, or raw? I have never considered putting beet on a hamburger before and the idea is intriguing. I do the cooking in our household and my wife loves beets...
Seems like a decent deal provided that the cosmetics suit you. I bought my 07 back in August of this year. Paid $5750, 7500 miles, PCIII, Akro slip on, Givi bags/rack, Puig touring screen, Corbin seat, New Pilot powers, and few other minor things were included. I am sorta fussy about...
What has been said sums it up rather well. I currently have both (08 FZ6 and 07 FZ1) and if it is a thrill you are looking for, look no farther than the FZ1! My experience with the 6 is good and I really like it. However, I do find the 6's seat to be slightly more comfortable than the 1's...
I have both bikes and I am certainly glad that someone else confirms the wind beating by the FZ6 stock screen. I have been reading and lurking for months in an attempt to find a way to improve this situation. My 6 has the stock screen and the 1 has a Puig touring screen. Frankly, the Puig is...
Nice thought, for sure. 20 degrees F here in the mountains of SW Virginia. 6 or so inches of snow and ice on the ground. The forecast shows better weather over the next week so perhaps this dreadful snow/ice will all melt. Perhaps I should post pictures of snow cones? Hee, hee.....
