I have the Pilot Road 2's in 190/55 on my FZ1 and I adore them. I've heard the PR3s are even better. They will definitely be my next tire.

I also had my seat re-done by Eddie (dirt road) and I'm very happy with the results. He has a really fast turn around time, and he's a super nice guy.

The only time I know of anyone eliminating the O2 sensor is when you installer a Power Commander. If you remove the O2 sensor without something going in its place to help manage the fuel, it's going to run oddly. I'd be wary of that part.

Just to keep this updated, my FDB levers were black when I got them, and have completely faded to almost silver in a few months time. I contacted FDB and they didn't have any interest in helping me out. Oh well, you get what you pay for. I'll have them powdercoated over the winter or something....

I use knock off CRG style bar end mirrors. It was like $20 shipped for the set. I can see behind/beside WAY better, and it cleaned up the air flow coming from the front.

I think the Sargent may not be right for me. I've heard bigger guys don't get along with it. The local play may only take a day or so. Maybe I'll just say eff it and drop it off.

Because your bike is parked at an angle, and the location of the fuel level sensor, the fuel level reads MUCH lower when you first start it. If the level returns to where you remember it being when you parked it, all is well. If it is still low after a few miles of riding, time to figure out...

I wondered the same thing. It seems really sketchy having the weight of the bike supported by the header, even if it's not the full weight.

If I didn't put a giant scratch on the front of the screen I would leave it alone. Seeing the scratch drives me nuts so I'll hide it somehow. I'm definitely not going to just spray paint the front. It won't hold up for more than a week.

I'll get a closer up pic soon, but that is how she sits now. The screen is chopped just about down to the fairing line, maybe a touch higher. I just rode for 30 or so miles and the air is hitting me square in the helmet/neck/chest area, just what I wanted. I'll report back with highway speeds...
