My painted stock screen and custom mirror block off plates

Last week I decided to paint the inside of my stock screen a semi gloss black, and make some mirror block off plates (I run bar end mirrors, WAY better than stock). The result:

All I did with the screen is clean it REALLY well and tape off the rounded "edge" that runs the top portion of the screen. I also taped and masked off the front side that I wanted to keep paint-free. Shot a thick coat on the inside and let it sit for a day. I think it turned out great.

The mirror block offs are cut from some aluminum scrap a friend had at his shop. I made a template of the hole using the stock mirror and some cardboard, then traced that onto the aluminum. I cleaned and painted the aluminum with the same Krylon Fusion I used on the wind screen. I think they came out pretty nice, and cost me $0.

Next up, chopping the stock screen!

any way you can post som pics of your mirror block offs?

for some reason I cant see the result of you mirror block off plates. Mind posting a pic as I'm encouraged now to do the same for mine! Thanks
