Don't sweat it too much Johnny. I ride all crossed up and still seem to get it done. If you're still having fun on the track then it's all good. When the worries outweigh the fun, then it's time to hang it up. Until then just go out and do it to it!
That's a good price IMHO. Good solid helmet. 5 years ago had a collision/crash at a track day. I was wearing an RF1100. About the only thing that didn't get hurt was my head(wife claims any further brain damage would be difficult to identify). I replaced it with the same model. Excellent...
Well you said you're only 16. Just ride a loud bike for 20 more years and find out how much hearing loss you have. Earplugs and a full face helmet will help a great deal with that. As far as a loud pipe. There is absolutely no reason for having one. Plenty of aftermarket cans out there that...
Amen! I got to watch a newbie in action just today. It was even a teachable moment for the half dozen kids left on my schoolbus.
I was on a main road next to a major subdivision in our area. The rider in front(group of 3) came up to a stop sign on one of the side roads. Decided that...
Great story. My idiot dog is terrified of bikes. Someone must have traumitized him with one before I rescued him from the Humane Society. Looks like the beer for a dog was a better deal.
Ditto the inseam. Sorry guys I was getting a chuckle reading this. Comfort yourselves knowing that your legs are in a bit less cramped postion than taller riders. Nice solution to the problem though.
Norm your willingness to share stories of Jake and your grief, mourning, healing process humbles me. Having never met you I feel that I owe you a debt of gratitude. Reading your words of grief and healing have helped me more than I can tell you. My own personal troubles seem petty compared to...
I'd have to say you have that at a very fair price. I sold my '07 with nearly 15k miles, and not quite as many mods as yours this spring. I asked and got $5000 for it. I'm just making a general assumption that the riding season in North FL is much longer than up here in WI. In fact I doubt...
I've used both Water Wetter and Engine Ice. Pretty much the same results. Temp drop of 7-10 degrees. Only drawback of Water Wetter, is no freeze protection.
Whew! Thank God! If they came out with the GenIII it would have been WWIII at our house. When and if they come out with the new generation, I know I'm really gonna want one. Mrs. Duffer is gonna have a hell of a time keeping me out of the dealership when it finally comes out.
I don't care if someone wants to get the body art. All power to em. It really is a personal choice. Some extensive work is going to have a stigma attached. It's just a cultural thing, some of the "establishment" will look down on it, others are more accepting. I heartily agree with alot of...
Ditto! Works like a charm. I add one more step to enrichen my life.
Save said piece of foil, wrap around Mother-Inlaw's potato at next family cookout. Nobody else has a funny tasting spud, why do you always have to complain about everything? HEHEHE!
