Hello and welcome to the forum, When my Fz1 was still new the only thing I change or add was a slider and some aesthetic stuff, after some time changed my oem pipe with a slip on and aftermarket drop in filter. What is important is to break in properly and change the fluids regularly.
I agree that perfectly normal to have a such tight spot, but it should only be in one spot or else you have to replace the whole chain, by the way inspect also the front sprocket as safety precaution. Teeth should not be sharp or missing.
Honestly, the Holeshot Performance looks pretty over... While the vance and hines just looks equal coz it blends on the paint scheme it self. Does anyone has a audio or video clip of this muffler just curious to know how it sounds.
I just recently bought a Zero Gravity Sport Touring Windshield from 4wheelonline, Got the smoked version. Well I totally agree it really looks good and terrific protection in high speed runs plus its so easy to install, by the way bought it for only $91.14 with free shipping.
It would be better to get a used rims instead of having it repaired, plus the good thing with it you can have it painted on your desired color. Just make sure to double check the rim before purchasing it and ask for warranty if ever there is some leak upon installing the tire.
Had the same problem lately, a friend of mine said that it could be with electrical current due to led are very sensitive with it, some riders install additional capacitor in order to work.
In my idea it could be a faulty oil sensor gauge that is the culprit. But before jumping to conclusion, make sure to check the oil level in a leveled road and bike centered stand.
Well adjusting the a/f knob are almost the same with other carb engines, but with with fz1, it has a 4 throttle carb, that means you are adjusting 4 carb not only one. You will also need a carb synchronize to balance all 4 carb.
Just got hold of a pair of Q3 tires from 4wheelonline, so far so good... Here are some info that I snatched from the site, I guess this tire is the only model that uses carbon fiber technology?
Meet the all-new Dunlop Sportmax Q3, the next-generation sport tire featuring Dunlop’s new Carbon...
I believe its a must to check the engine valve even though you got it with low mileage, Checking the valve clearance will surely save money and time for any future damage.
I do agree that the oem muffler of r1 really looks great, but I find it expensive just to mount it to my FZ1 compared in getting a aftermarket system instead. Also I think you guys are right that the exhaust sound of the R1 differed due to the engine design compared to the FZ1.
What I do with mine is to soak the filter with water and dish washing soap and lightly brush with a soft bristle toothbrush, rinse with running water and air dry indoor. Before I reinstall the filter I mist it with wd40 and gently wipe the excess.
I did this because I find that knn charger...
I agree, no need to spray soap with water, all you need to do is to make sure that the surface of the wheel is cleaned and prepped. In my idea it would be easier to install the sticker if the wheel is dismounted from the bike so that you can make sure that installed it evenly and perfectly.
