I'd appreciate that very much, thanks! I plan to paint it myself anyway. My bike has the matte grey/black tail so it'll need similar paint which is no big deal. Just want it to fit and look decent.
Thanks again.
Yeah, no such luck unfortunately. I've tried every variance of the word I could think of. There is very little information on which model it fits. The ones I find that state "FZ1 All Models" or something similar, usually ends up being the FZ1N when I contact the seller directly.
I know there are thousands of threads on this topic, but I have been searching for weeks now and all I get is really old posts here or on FZ1oa about some seat cover that was in production or something or other.
The only two I found that might actually fit the S model (NOT the N model), are...
I found the centre stand hidden away very well. Thanks for all the suggestions though! I may very well buy one of those anyway and have both tires properly off the ground.
I agree it is a good idea, but unfortunately they end up costing me just as much, if not more, than a centre stand would when you include shipping charge to Canada. Most end up around $100 or so whereas my local Yamaha dealer can get me a slightly better deal. For example, the same T-Rex one you...
I misplaced mine because I usually remove it over the summer, and only use it for storage in the winter. Poor baby is currently parked sideways in the garage because I don't know where I put the darn centre stand last time I took it off!! :spank2:
Anyway, I'm in need of a centre stand and was...
That's quite the undertaking! That is (and would be) extremely useful. I hate not being able to search for parts by name when I need something specific.
As soon as I read "magnet", I thought of magnets used in the oil pan, oil drain plug, or oil filter to help attract metal filings. But the placement is odd.
Could be helping hold the kickstand upright when you have it up, or something? Or it could indeed be for traffic light sensors but I...
I remember in my rider training course so many years ago there were two young guys that both said they already bought their bikes (no licenses yet). One got a GSXR 600 and the other a GSXR 750, both blue and black. Both of them had dirt bike style helmets and regularly "forgot" to fasten the...
I've seen orange thread lock before, too, which crumbles and falls apart into little rubbery/doughy pieces. Not sure if any would be used near enough anything to fall into your coolant though. Sealant sounds pretty likely (as stated above).
