Well, the used bike market here is saturated and tough to sell at a decent price but I'll just sit on them and use them until someone will pay closer to what they are worth. Tire kickers and low-ballers only. Lots of inquiries, no physical visits.
Anyway, life moves forward at an ever-increasing pace. The tractor finally arrived but without the backhoe bucket. We got tired of waiting so we picked it up anyway and got it out to the property. Below is a pic of us just loaded at the dealer. The Tundra did a fine job of hauling the load. My new trailer is awesome and handled like a dream. They loaded the trailer while it was on their yard truck so it wasn't as balanced as I'd liked on my truck, but it wasn't bottoming out the suspension so I drove it with care.
I'd taken measurements of the ROPS and built this canopy for it. The canopy came from a golf cart dealer nearby... it is a used one from a Yamaha golf cart. They traded it for a case of Miller lite cans.
I have about $82.00 into it and it's easily as good as the $700.00 OEM canopy! The aluminum plates came from the old Sprague sign they gave me when we moved HQ in NH. I bought two 1" square 48" long aluminum tubes and SS bolts to hold it all together.
Here it is on the tractor. Attached to the ROPS with 2 sets of 3" square U-bolts typically used for trailer axles.

The bucket is still out there, not in my possession yet. But we got some loader work done and when we go back up, I'll drop the backhoe off and put on the 6' shredder so we can clear the fence lines and driveway area to prep for gravel. Now that the tractor has official Yamaha parts, it's just another mod thread here, right? LOLOL!!!!

Oh no... no, no, no..... We're nothing like the Land Down Under. You all have a ton more deadly things on land AND in the water. Rattlers aren't deadly anyway. You'll have a ton of pain and be sick, but people rarely die from them, same as the scorpion, tarantula and brown recluse. The coral snakes are our deadly weapons. I hope I never see one of those. I'm far less likely to try and machete one of those.

We have deadly snakes, spiders, crocodiles, sharks, jellyfish etc etc. Apart from that, it's pretty good over here haha

I didn't make boots but I did make a better tooth bar for the loader bucket. The ones selling weren't hefty enough and way over priced.... so what do you do? Build your own! I'm still an amateur at welding and this was with the flux core .35 wire which is the messiest possible welding but I'm getting better with each pass. Outside of primer and paint, the last shot is pretty much finished. Most companies use 3/8" flat stock... I used 1/2" flat and 3/8" for the mounting tabs. The teeth are from Titan... $15.00 each!
