    Although i took mine off to be coated the powder coating guy said the rubber boot would melt and the leaking grease would spoil the paint. I did look into purchasing a new knuckle/joint with the intention of replacing it but in the end i could not be bothered, less tinkering-more riding.

    I too have just fitted the Mivv Suono (italia exotica) and i am delighted with it. I would have preferred it in black but the price hike was out of my budget range, non the less it is a great sounding and fine looking piece of italian craftsmanship.

    Rerouting cables - Airbox Mod

    Its pretty straight forward. Just disconnect each cable at its junction, usually under the tank, pull them through the frame and route them down the side of the frame and reconnect them. Their is enough cable length to do this without any modifications.

    Just replace the whole forks. 04-06 and 07-08 R1 radial forks are a direct swap as they are both 50mm diameter. you can use your own wheel and spacers but you will need the axle, calipers and a radial M/C.
