I have not noticed any issues with my 06, thank god. ( only dealership around thats not almost a hr away just closed it doors for good ) I enjoy my bike more and more everytime I ride it.

Has anybody ever raced one? Not that I am supporting road racing, but I am sure maybe someone has raced at a track or closed course or other maybe? I know they are close for horsepower and weights not that much off.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been riding for 21 years and I think everyone at sometime questions the oil and filter thing LOL. But at the rate companies are trying to save a buck on materials who has the time to research al the changes these days?

Any to stay away from?

Are some of these universal to the FZ6?

I hope my issues are just pre-mature and only due to owning it a week, didn't get me much saddle time. I have off Friday and it should be nice out to take out to the county roads after I scruff the tires a bit in town.

So far I love the look, the first day I ripped off that truck of a mud flap it had on there and took all the passenger pegs and left brace off for a solo only bike. I have 3 other bikes for 2-up riding. I was told by the shop manager where I bought the bike the factory mapping is way off for epa...

I think I just need more miles to be put on it, I only have 5 on it due to all the rain we have been having.

Last Saturday I picked up a new left over 06 FZ1, I am undecided if I like it or not. Seemed pretty fast and comfortable enough. I don't know maybe its buyers remorse due to having 3 other motorcycles as well. Am I nuts or what?

I did a search but due to terminology I am coming up with zero, What does it mean when people are zipping the flies? I am new to the FZ1 as you can tell.

Ouch sorry to hear this. Ask the Dealer is they can catch you a break on the parts a % off or Dealer cost. Its worth a try.
