hi, no i haven't bled them, as its an ABS there are lots of lines and is not something i am going to attempt. it took my mechanis a while to bleed them when they were put on so no way am i doing it. i will take her to the bike shop tomorrow
thanks for the reply
ok so, noticed today that the bite point on the front brake keeps moving.
for instance, i was going down a hill at low speed as i was in traffic. i was using the front brake to stay at a slow pace and had the biting point but as i was going further down the hill the biting point got longer...
having just looked on the parts catalogue UK for the part numbers/sizes of the rear wheel bearings (sprocket carrier side and right side) the part numbers for both on the list are the same. im sure when i got the bearings before the sprocket carrier side was a different size altogether. there is...
actually having just checked a EU site with microfiche for both N and S versions, the part numbers are the same as the ones i posted in the OP. so by the looks of it the UK and USA versions of the FZ1S are the same.

I am wanting anew genuine yamaha FZ1n 2008 clutch cable.
on the microfiche on a UK site it shows the product number as: 2D1-26335-00-00 but on non UK microfiche the beginning of the part number is different: 3C3-26335-00-00
is the prouct the same?
cheers

i cant find any decent pics to compare if this is normal or not. someone said its machining marks by Yamaha and others say its chain damage. left hand side on the engine casing.
if any of you guys have half an hour to check yours that would be awesome.
thanks in advance
you will have to let us guys in the uk know if the difference is noticeable. this was something i was thinking about doing but sending the ecu off to ivan was not really ever gonna happen.
weird thing is, I did compare and the frayed one was slightly longer, but only slightly. do you know where it clips onto the plastic holder on left side close to frame, is the metal stud supposed to be IN the clip or to either side? I cant remember tbh. at the moment it is to the front. dunno if...
had a look. one has an arrow, the other is just a dot in the metal. pretty much in line with each other.
my bike is a 2008 model, tbh im not too sure how long clutch plates last for. i was kind of hoping the renewal of the clutch cable would be a good thing. the only reason i had to change it...
