HELP PLEASE GUYS......need a comparison for this

i cant find any decent pics to compare if this is normal or not. someone said its machining marks by Yamaha and others say its chain damage. left hand side on the engine casing.

if any of you guys have half an hour to check yours that would be awesome.

That is machine marks. There's a guard you can see in front of the chain, and if it were chain marks, it would be two sets of grooves from the edges of the links. You're good!
