When you turn the key on your hearing your fuel pump prime and fill with fuel. That is the clicking sounds that you are hearing. If you push the starter button and hear clicks then it sounds to me like your battery has low-voltage and needs a charge. You can try hooking it up to a car battery...
HEMP is the solution! Ever wonder why something with NO psychoactive properties is illegal? Because it would put big oil and corn for fuel out of business!
It's not your fuel pump. If it was you wouldn't have any gas pumping out. The problem is past the pump. Check your hose clamps, the hoses and your fuel filter. Replace as necessary. After sitting for a while it's possible your carbs are gummed up. Pull them, clean them and if you haven't already...
I'm not sure if the info is on this site or not as I have only seen it on the FZ1OA site but it is out there it just might take some searching on both sites.
There is not one. You must do a bypass. Do some searching on this site or the other. One of them has it. Not sure which one or where but it is somewhere.
Sorry but it looks like I'm out. Just had to drop $1400 for new suspension on the 'ole cager. Oh well, there's always next year. Y'all ride safe now and have fun!
Too bad he didn't take them on a ride straight into the Gulf. Maybe then I wouldn't have been stuck behind trailers with Hardleys on them or in the fast lane behind a bunch of douches going 55 on my way to Willis to visit family. I knew I should have taken the Fizzy and not the cage. I could...
Used to be the same for me when I used to HotTap. Now it's just clear saftey glasses and earplugs when I feel the need. I always wear gray saftey glasses in the day and clear at night under my full face helmet.
I cruise at 80 with my left elbow on the tank and right hand on the throttle and have taken her to 160 without a problem, both hands on the bars of course. When there is a strong head wind I have to tuck and duck and let my helmet be my fairing but I'm also a little over 200lbs so...
Right on. I'm going to pull the pressure and friction plates and soak them in oil over night and reinstall them to see the results but will still buy new friction plates and I think I will by some heavy duty springs and install them this weekend. Man I want to ride!
Ah yes I remember hearing about that trick before. I'm just going to open it up and give it a good inspection and replace what is needed as this will be my daily commuter. Thanks for the info!
Right on. I will let you know what I find. Ya she's gonna be my every day rider for awile. I'm gonna put some heavy duty springs on her as I tend to be an aggressive rider esp. now that she has AK-20s and a BMW s1000RR shock with a CBR 1000 600 lb/in spring and all the other fun mods i.e. Ivan's...
And she did! Looks like I'm tearing into the clutch first thing after work Wed. Any suggestions as to what springs I should get as I have not ever changed them and might as well while I'm in there. I'm going with O.E.M. on the friction plates and will only change pressure plates if they are...
18,500 on the bike. Changed friction plates about a year and a half ago but have only put maybe 2000 miles on since. Bike has been sitting for about a year. Same thing caused friction plates to stick to pressure plates last time it sat for awile. If that's it then why would it shift through all...
