There wont be any "extra" plugs because of the PC3 - it goes "in-line". As for a USB cable, call DynoJet. Nothing compared with the IVAN's reflash!

It doesnt hurt to "clean" them. A trick that we did at the track back in the day, was to spray brake cleaner on a rag, then buff the tire like you'd shine a shoe. Then again, if your smooth, a little slip wont hurt.

Battery is the first place to look. The bike is 6 yrs old with low mileage. The fact that the dash goes out suggests electrical.

I think that your running your chains tighter than needed. Better looser than too tight.
