Yep I'm home and sore...
Thanks Gary!!! How goes everything??!! I hope that you and the family are all doing well. You need to post a shot of the current conditions in your garage. I want to see what your stable is looking like these days!
Of course . .. here it is Billy !
I'm sure this won't be your LAST rebuild...one a year would really get me down too.
you could always do alittle manwhoring on the side to feed your addiction!!!
Thanks buddy. Two Hondas and a Suzi. The herd is thin there pal. Looks like your short a Yami.oke:
Aww, you noticed. I am lookin' for a Yami. . . . I have been eye'in a TMAX !! Fast, sporty, easy on the old knees and the aching backopcorn:
Okay. Big problems here today. I brought the forks here to work to try and work the caps loose and nothing doing. I had two guys hold the tube, along with a big strap wrench and still, the caps won't loosen! I don't want to knarl up the nuts. What should I do? I have to remove them to rebuild the forks. Any ideas?? I'm thinking to go to Harbor Freight and pick up a 24mm Impact socket and use the gun on them. Does that sound feasable?? Thanks.
The impact may be the only way to go.
Yeah impact is the way to go with most forks. Putting it back on, have to be a bit gentle.
