What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

You may find that the Rotella degrades more quickly than other oils and requires shorter oil change intervals. That's the only downside I've found & the people who get their oil analyzed have found this as well. Mind you, it's only $20 a gallon :)

You have a good point maybe i should change the oil at 2500 miles and the filter and oil at 5000

I put on a Cee Baileys touring shield and a set of wingets . The Wingets are the small black windshields in between the bars and the tank . Cee Baileys also makes windows for planes and jets so i trust them for making oversized shields for my bikes !!

New front tire, new fork oil. Went with the Honda brand 10w which is the factory spec. The bike sure does feel a lot smoother now :)

My mechanic said the fork oil was pretty bad; I guess I shouldn't leave it for 2 years / 50,000 km anymore.

Replaced the clutch in the DRZ and nothing there but a limp lever ? Didn't miss anything, today I'll try and fix by adjusting the lever but it worked with the old one ? Tires came yesterday so that's next after this issue is complete.

Got in a rush and placed the 2nd to the last fiber plate in the wrong slot's. WTH they made the basket with them is a Mystery to me. But it's on the road again. Went T6 and new filter. Tomorrow new Tires, back to Dual Sport skins.

On the BMW R1100rt; adjusted valves, synched throttle bodies, replaced alternator belt, replaced hall effect sensor, installed the new up-graded cam chain tensioner for left cylinder.
On the FZ09; went to lube the chain after my last day of work (3 days, 300 miles of commuting), and found the side plate of the master link was loose. I replace the stock chain at 19k miles, and it currently has 23.5k miles. I tried to re-rivet it, but it was found loose after the first day of riding. Ordered a new master link, and will ground the bike until it's installed.
Sold the harbor freight tire changer to my friend. My wife surprised me with a nomar! The truth is, she just got tired of hearing me bitch every time I used the hf! If I wasn't so cheap, I'd have bought this in the first place.:)

Yeeeesh, that's sketchy. What chain did you use when you replaced it?

It was a no name 530 o-ring chain. I generally replace the chain and sprockets every other time using a good set, and a cheap chain every other time. It's not the chains fault, I just didn't rivet it enough.

If I were to do it again, I'd have bought the no mar as my first changer. It was worth the cost. If you want to keep the hf changer, mojo lever makes pieces to replace the rim contact area and a mount/dismount bar that gets good reviews.
