I used, as Tony suggested, USPS and insured it for slightly more than the amount I would be charged if TS did not receive them. It cost me $54.50 (insured for $450 at that time) to ship to France from NH. :tup:

Thanks for the advice. I will go the USPS route. I nearly crapped my pants when UPS said $400.

Are you going completly custom? Because the seat I just bought/recieved costs me $342....using their pans, and that included shipping. There are still a few in the "bargin bins" on their site. Just saying......

He was referring to the cost of shipping his old seat back, not what he had paid for it.

Anyone go from a Corbin seat to one of these? I wanna know how much of a difference it made.. I love my seat, but these, especially with the "FZ1" stitching is pretty snazzy IMO

So Denver....are you looking to have them make you a seat using your pans? Because what I tried to explain was that the seat I got cost me less by purchasing their pan.....but my seat came from the bargain bin.

We are a tough crowd.
It's 23 here and the wind chill drops it to about 11 degrees. I just ran out in a Tee and stocking feet to get the mail.

You purchased the standard and not the lowered correct?
I'm asking because I am short and can barely flat foot on the stock seat.
I'm checking the bargain bin now!
