One other small hurdle I came across that someone might find useful - My fork slider's aint going to work no more, well not with out some mod's. R1 axle has the solid nut and supposedly a rubber plug (haven't had a good look yet). Their are kits on the market that provide a replacement axle nut so you don't have to drill out the stock nut but they all have to come from the US. I am thinking I will just back the axle nut out and put it on a drill press and then maybe thread it for extra strength around the threaded rod. To solve it sticking out I think I will have a machinist mate run it on his lathe and clearance around the axle nut so it is nice and neat/flush. Anyone else got suggestion ?
