I've gotten used to putting a detailing towel between the gauge cluster and windscreen (magical) if the bike is sitting in the sun at all, after reading this thread around the time I got my bike a year ago. Its a worthy revival, lol. --MW

I feel this way about my fz, and also the 2004 sv I had before it. I used to obsess over keeping my cars clean too. Getting into riding in '08 has kind of cleared that up. I am glad too, it is way easier to keep up with the bikes! --MW
