Hi I have an 07. Never noticed a vibration as bad as your experiencing. I think I noticed a slight vibration once or twice. Of course I had the bad vent vibration in the same rpm range. But I fixed that by shoving pieces of electrical tape between it and the fairing. Haven't been on this...

It was crowded this year. The only thing I bought was a rubber & plastic thing called a Cell Buckle. It used to attach a cell phone to the handlebars. My buddy took lots of pictures. I'll post them as soon as he emails them to me.

Congrats! I remember that end-of-semester feeling. Especially the spring semester when I was young, free, single and the whole summer awaited me. But it's also great to be at the end of the fall semester and have the hoidays off. Enjoy. I did about 50 miles today in the lower forties...

Hi All I thought I'd attach a few pics. I rode back to the shop where I bought the helmet today and bought a new battery tender. The bike still seems OK. I started to clean it but I ran out of time to do a thorough job. I'll post more pictures once I get it all cleaned up. You can see...

Well, I rode it home tonight. First I went to a shop near me and bought a new Scorpion EXO-1100 helmet. It's a little lighter than my old EXO-1000 that got flooded and just as comfortable. I also bought a pair of Firstgear Kilmanjaro gloves. Really nice gloves! It's 41 degrees here...

Thanks All. I really appreciate the advice. Hmmmm, the 2013's are cobalt blue just like my rusted 07. Hmmmmm. I'll have to be extra nice to the wife this week. Someone else also mentioned to me about the salvage title. I didn't think of that. I guess that is a major consideration...
