Thank you fz1 riderny for responding!!! Its not the clamps, I actually took the boots and carbs off as one. So out of the 8 bolts I only have 2 in there. I know dumb huh!! So the only vacuum to the carbs is strictly off the compression????

thats what im wondering. with no AIS the carbs dont have any lines from the motor to it. also i know this sounds stupid but when i put the carbs back on i only put 2 screws back on the boots. one at each end beause there so dificult to get to. unless theres a trick i dont know about. is it that...
