Thanks Arnold. I'm sorry that I have no updates other than getting my Clip-ons today. I had a side job that entailed me leaving the house at 3:30am this morning with 3 hours sleep (damn insomnia!), because the bar/restaurant was opening at 11:30am and we had to replace the entire "bar top" after ripping out the 40 year old existing one by that time. I felt like crap when I got home. At least I was a couple of hundred dollars richer when I got there! I promise that tomorrow is going to be a banging day! Harbor Freight at 9am in Jersey, and then into the garage until the Superbowl starts. Here are the Clip-ons that Tony found for me....as usual! I don't know what I'd do without his bloodhound tendancies!
Also heading down to CycleGear in Edison. Going to use my $25.00 dollar gift card that Peter1968 sent me last XMas. It winds up that they have the front fork stands on sale 50% off! Regularly $89.99 on sale for $44.99 less my card makes that $20 bucks for it!!!! Can't beat that! They also have the Stockton Brake Bleeding Kit on sale for $39.95. If I'm there I'll pick up all my fluids as well. Gonna be a great day!
Bill, I have the Cyclegear Trackside stands front and rear, I like them better than my Pit Bull satnds. I have been using them on the 999, I really like how narrow the front stand is.
Billy, be CAREFUL with the plastic today. When Brady starts throwing points on the board, I don't want you snapping parts in half!
Funny you mentioned Trackside Pete! I just got home from Jersey with a boat load of goodies! Thanks so much for the gift card! That Trackside Front Stand cost me $20 bucks! Regular price $89.99. You can't beat that price anywhere. Here's some other things I picked up as well ON SALE mind you....
Semi synthetic oil for $6.49 a quart, shop towels for $1.49 each, K&N filter for $13.99, Wheel chock for the trailer $24.99, Stockton Brake Bleeder Set for $39.95, and because I spent over a certain amount, I got the T-Handle Hex Set for $12.00 bucks. I picked up a new set of Superbike Grips in my favorite color! Thanks again Pete!
Now I'm headed downstairs for a tear-down marathon. I'll be back up in time for kick-off!!!..........with progress pics of course!
See Ya!!
