Yamaha Has Officially re-claimed FZ1-forum.com

So even though the website here changed to 998cc a while ago, my bookmarked link was still to www.998cc.org and the site just redirected me to 998cc.org.

Well today that changed. www.998cc.org now re-directs you to yamaha's main USA website.

I finally had to change my Bookmark settings. Luckily a search for FZ1 Forum still brings up this site.

Oddly, FZ1OA is not affected. Looks like Yamaha is cherry picking.

It's likely that the name FZ1 Forum was targeted instead of FZ1 Owners Association because of the inclusion of Owners. I noticed the tag line now says FZ1 Owners Forum.

Just a douchey legality and they are likely dropping the Fz1 model soon anyway.
