Hey guys wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kevin and I am 47. I have been riding street since I was 17.
List of bikes I have owned.
1985 ninja 600 (bought new)
1987 Suzuki intruder 750 (bought used)
1994 Honda V4 magna (bought new)
1998 Harley sportster sport 1200 (bought new)
1999 Honda cbr f4 (bought new)
2000 Honda cbr 929 (bought new)
1988 Honda Hawk GT650 (bought used)
2002 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 Green (bought used)
1979 Suzuki gs425 (bought used still own transforming it into a café style bike)
2002 Yamaha FZ1 ( bought used and own now)

So I just bought this 2002 FZ1 from the original owner who was in his late 50s with 12000 original miles. It is in like new condition and all stock. Purchased it on Thursday the 17th. Super clean bike.
I took it out today for a short ride and this bike is amazing. It is by far the best bike I have owned out of all of them. Its super comfy, lots of power, handles real well for stock, super smooth and just plain kicks ass.

Where abouts in WA are you? Maybe we can meet up for a ride some time
 
Thanks for the welcome but I only own the 2002 fz1 and the 79 Suzuki. I wish I had them all still lol.

The only bikes I took pics of were the Harley, F4,929,ZRX and the 79 GS before I striped it down to the frame.

The F4 and Harley pics are from actual film so nothing on the computer of them but here are a few of them.

May not be the absolute best bike ever for everyone, but almighty does it check all my boxes!!!

Handling: check
Mileage: check
Reliability: check
Looks: check
Touring: check
Commuting: check
Fun: check

Hard to imagine a more versatile bike.

So here are a list of mods that I have ordered for my new bike.

Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen
15/45 sprockets
speedo healer
front and rear braided brake lines

Next up will be fender eliminator
Front fender extender
AIS removal kit

Then when money allows
rear shock upgrade
front fork spring swap and maybe revalve
Fork brace
steering damper

The ZRX was an awesome bike. I sold It when my 1st son turned 1 year old. I started getting nervous riding which had never happened before. I thought at the time that it was the best thing to do to sell it. I wish now I never did. I loved that bike.
