Man gets perpetual woody after riding BMW ....

Hilarious! Maybe I should go and sue Suzuki for my numb, sore balls snug up against that metal gas tank riding dirt track when I was going thru puberty. Oh the anquish! :embarrased::rmwl: :D

Oh what next! Only in America do we allow absurd stuff like this to go on...lol

Well we in America allow old ladies to win huge settlements from McDonalds from spilt coffee. After all, somebody should have told her it was hot coffee and to not pour it on her crotch! Remember that?

Oh I remember that very well...about as stupid as the burglar that sued the homeowners when he got hurt breaking in to their house...how sad.

What a shame as to what our country has become. It was that lady and the coffee case that opened the flood gates for these insane lawsuits! I thought that Judges were supposed to be men and women of great intelligence and knowledge?? It takes a simpleton to realize that these lawsuits are ridiculous and never need to be brought before a court of law! What a waste of taxpayer dollars! The need to get rid of these "so called" Judges and start fining the lawyers that actually think they have a case to begin with. Then maybe they will think twice about entering these bogus lawsuits. They also need to start having plaintiffs signing waivers that state "if they lose the case", they will be incurring all legal fees of the defendant, and all court costs as well. You'd have to have a bonafied case before ever thinking of bringing it to court. We have become a laughing stock worldwide for all to make fun of. Talk about self destruction!!! It's pathectic!!!:shame:

In defense if the old lady, she had severe burns that permanently scarred her body. This was also after the fact that McDonalds was warned for there extremely hot coffee. The old lady only wanted to get her medical bills paid for which is understandable considering the ridiculous bills the hospitals give people. The media was all over this story but few actually took the time to look into it.

Thinking of sueing

I seem to have the same dabilitating and traumatic affliction when I ride my 990, and the FZ had the same affect (sometimes just looking at it). This could help supplement my retirement savings.......:sinister: Look out Yamaha and KTM, my attorney will be in touch!:deal:

Well, she may have initially wanted her bills paid, but wound up getting a little bit more than that as stated here:

"The jury awarded Liebeck $200,000 in compensatory damages. This amount was reduced to $160,000 because the jury found Liebeck 20 percent at fault in the spill. The jury also awarded Liebeck $2.7 million in punitive damages, which equals about two days of McDonalds' coffee sales."

Yes, because that's the best way to check the temp of your coffee. The crotch method. Many do that but they can't help it,........Good thing she didn"t need to check the strength of sulfuric acid in the battery.

Responsibility. Can come in handy every once in a while.

The coffee case has been one of the most misrepresented cases of all time. It was much less about the lady spilling and much more about the culpability of companies who ignore safety complaints.

If it had been the first time that Mc D's had served coffee that hot and someone had been injured, she would have gotten zilch. However, there was a well documented trail of safety complaints and even communication within McD's about the issue that was never addressed. Basically, her lawyer lucked into a situation where he had provable, documented, and systematic negligence on their part. Not something that happens very often.

With relation to this case, I don't see it going very far. Unless BMW has been covering up multiple reports of raging unending boners since the bike came out, they have zero liability, especially since he changed the seat.

I thought the story was the the dealer changed the seat for him, botched the job and left a hard lump in the middle and that was the grounds for the case

If that's the case, who knows. Still seems pretty thin to me as he'd have to prove that A) It was BMW's fault, B) He didn't feel the lump was bad enough that he had to take action before he got the aformentioned raging permanent hardon and C) It actually was bad enough.

It would be pretty hilarious to try to enter photos of a man with a raging boner into evidence though.
