So, I got the best birthday present that I've had in years. Lonzol was nice enough to sell his last Micron GP exhaust. I've been waiting to find the right pipe to finish off my bikes look. Well the Micron GP black stainless steel pipe showed up today and I'm stoked. :bday:

Gonna have to wait till tomorrow to install probably.

But as of right now.

So pumped right now, I'm trying to contain myself and not go riding (I had a couple drinks for happy hour, about 4 hours ago, but I give myself a zero tolerance rule). I came home after spending time with my friends, decided to throw on the pipe and am so excited. It sounds amazing. The thing that gets me about my bike is that each thing I've done to it, Naked conversion, FE and LED tailight, now the slip on makes me fall in love all over again. It was dark out and my bike is dirty from 2 weeks of riding, but I made a quick vid for comparison. I'll get her cleaned up tomorrow and will get some pics up.

Did you leave the silencer in?

To be honest I don't know. I just followed Copperdawgs video and put the pipe on the way it came out of the box. There is a metal conical shape thing that was in the plastic bag with the bolt and nut that I did not know where to put it. I was guessing that is the silencer.

Yep sounds like it. Look in the rear tail pipe, if you can easily see down the pipe and it's the same diameter all the way down, the silencer is out. If there is a ring held in by a bolt inside the pipe, and the pipe opens up on the inside, the silencer is in. By the sound of it the silencer is out (sounds like mine which has the silencer removed).

Now enjoy the crackle when you decelerate as the AIS sucks in air & pops that unburnt fuel. Some people don't like the noise, but I don't mind it.
