Yep sounds like it. Look in the rear tail pipe, if you can easily see down the pipe and it's the same diameter all the way down, the silencer is out. If there is a ring held in by a bolt inside the pipe, and the pipe opens up on the inside, the silencer is in. By the sound of it the silencer is out (sounds like mine which has the silencer removed).

Now enjoy the crackle when you decelerate as the AIS sucks in air & pops that unburnt fuel. Some people don't like the noise, but I don't mind it.

I think the silencer may be in. Is that the ring you are talking about held in by a bolt?

Yeah, that's it. Undo the bolt, get a piece of wire and bend a tight hook onto the end and pull it out. It will sound even better. But ride sensibly in front of the law folk.

I kind of figured. I think in part I got away with half the riding I was doing because the stock pipe is so quiet.
