FZ8 vs FZ1 Coffman's shorty exhaust

Hi all,

My question is that I can have a 2010 FZ8 Coffman Shorty for a good price but I need to know if it will fit or not my 2010 FZ1 ?
By looking at the specs on the website it looks the same, but stock# is different... I even asked the guy at Coffman about it and they told me it would'nt fit, but I have a doubt about it...

By looking at the pictures it is the same, too.

What is the inlet size of an OEM FZ1 exhaust vs FZ8 ? Thank you in advance guys !

I can remember looking in to a similar thing a while back .. if I can remember correctly I found that the gasket for the fz1 and fz8 where the same diameter witch should make the link pipes the same size , but im sure the fz8 header is shorter so the rear mount will be in the wrong place , but anything can be adapted !! hth
