Florida vacation... advice required

Hi guys, We are heading to Central Florida from the UK for New Year vacation and hoping to pick up some goodies like a sena bluetooth headset and maybe some kevlar jeans while we are there.

Can anyone recommend any retailers or dealers we should visit in and around the Orlando area

Thanks in advance... Biff

Orlando is nice,,, also make sure you hit Daytona. destenation Daytona, lot of bike shops, huge Harley dealer,, nice pub.

Cycle gear is your best bet.

I'm sorry to say, but my friend told me he hasn't been up to Orlando in about 10 years!
But at least there are other members who have suggestions!
Good luck in your search & hope to see some pics and what you found when you return!
Safe Travels.....

Thanks for all the advice, thats why I like this forum so much!
I'm looking forward to getting some sunshine and trying to keep my wife out of the shopping malls.
I'll check out the places suggested and try to remember to get some pics for you.
Oh and Merry Christmas to you all.

There are 2 giant outdoor outlet malls in Orlando. Not necessarily for bike gear, but good places to shop:

Premium Outlets 8200 Vineland Rd, Orlando 32821

Orlando Premium Outlets 4951 International Drive Orlando 32819

Motorcycle Gear:
Cycle Gear - East Plaza Shopping Center, 5032 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32803

Best Pizza: Mellow Mushroom 11680 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32817

Best Mexican: Chuey's 8123 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819

That's awesome Max, thanks. I remember the first two shopping malls from our last visit but have never been to the other places. We have a US sat nav this year so the zip codes should work a treat. It's always good to eat and shop where the locals go and avoid the usual tourist traps.
Do you know if the car cruise and bike meet still happens in old town kissimmee?

^^^If it was in downtown it is most likely still a regular event. I live 2 hours from Orlando, but am there a few days every month for business. Nothing much else to do in Orlando except the theme parks and shopping.

If you have time drive about 45 minutes east on TR 528 to Merrit Island (Cocoa Beach) for some decent beaches and you can also do the tour at Kennedy Sapce Center (Cape Canaveral).

**Big fan of Eric Burdon. Saw him about 20 years ago.

We visited the space centre on our last visit and were lucky enough to catch the shuttle launch, I guess that's why it was soooo busy.
Definitely will have a trip to merrit island and cocoa beach, maybe down the 95 on the return trip from Destination Daytona.

**Eric Burdon is a 60's legend, a local lad made good but like Sting and Brian Johnson, they all live in Sunny California and Florida now. It's a tough life eh? lol
