Shocks are different but not far from your sighting…... ELR $8500. Tempting

That looks great, and in the faster blueMy dear old Ma had a hip replacement on Monday, so as I got the final part to finish the Water Pump rebuild on Monday too on Tuesday I decided to do a 6 mile test ride to check the fluids stayed where they should and then fitted the newly painted FZ750 fairing for the first time.
I then set off on the 90 mile round trip to go and see her in hospital along with my son on my old XJ550. The bike behaved perfectly (apart from the oil light flickering on and off occasionally) and it was perfect weather to take the long, cross-country route on the way back - the new tyres (Michelin Road 4s) have transformed the bike.
Really, really pleased with how it has all turned out!

We have a number of Petrolhead destination pubs/cafes here in the UK, some more car focused, some bike.Is that like a car show?. If so what type of cars? Like here in the US usually a car show in a bigger city you'll see modern faster cars like McLaren, or Dodge Hell cat. Usually in the smaller towns like where I live it's older cars like 55 Chevy with like a 350, 454 ci. or two of my favs, ' 69 Ford mustang Mach 1 or a 72 z28 camaro
And here I was happy to get in a 10 mile little ride yesterday. LOL! Haven't had much chance to ride, so when I had a half hour of free time I took a little spin.Had a decent ride yesterday. Temps in the mid 60s decided to head to western Mass without checking weather forecast. 60 miles into the ride and I was staring at ominous clouds heading east. Took a quick look at radar on the phone and decided the hollows of Conn. looked dry so vectored south. Stayed dry and still got in 200 miles.
As much as I would like to head west, Today’s looking to be the same setup as far as weather. May try to sneak in a trip to the southern RI/CT beaches. Got to go with the flow in the spring. Happy to get in 700 miles in the last seven days with as much rain as we’ve had.
You’re going to have to set aside some time for date night (day) with the bike. And here I was happy to get in a 10 mile little ride yesterday. LOL! Haven't had much chance to ride, so when I had a half hour of free time I took a little spin.![]()
You are right about that. It's long overdue. I only had one good ride last year (two tanks full of gas in one day). I'm hoping to do better this year. You’re going to have to set aside some time for date night (day) with the bike.

That was so funny!I use to be a motorcycle marriage councilor, We use to specialize in putting excitement back into the relationship.
Sometimes we’d suggest the date night approach, sometimes it was sexy lacy clothing for the rider (looking at you Cobalt), sometimes we suggest role play like being the MotoGp star or bad boy Hell’s angle.
Over the years we found it was seldom the bike that had lost interest in the relationship. Try bringing home some flowers. and a thoughtful card that may put you both in the mood.
On another note it's 8:30 am in New England, beautiful weather, and five days of rain are behind us. I’m in the mood for some lovin.
It's still an awesome bike. I went to a rally a couple years ago and they had a dyno there. I figured, why not try it out. When my turn came up the tuner said, "I love that bike!" I couldn't disagree with him.I haven't done any special rides but I've been riding to and from work for the past few weeks, and it's been great.
I bought a Harley project a few months ago and it's almost finished. In the process of getting some specialty fasteners I had to visit the local HD dealership a few times. It's funny how much attention the old FZ1 gets there. I made three or four trips and every time I park my FZ in the motorcycle parking up front I get tons of compliments, and lots of questions. Who knew how much of a conversation starter a 20 year old FZ1 could be!
I did get out for 220 miles on Sunday. Same old western Mass run which typically takes 6 hours. Beautiful sunshine but, it was a hard day to diagnose as far as temps, ended up cold in the morning and perfect in the afternoon. That was so funny!
Sounds like you should get out today, too!
