By the way... I'm getting older... I can find weight much easier than I can lose it... so it was a Diet Dew.
Stearns... Some nice roads around there! I have a regular fuel stop in Stearns on my easterly routes. Hwy 92 toward Monticello is really nice. I think they call that part of the "Yamacraw Trail", and just north of Stearns, if you turn east on 478 toward Williamsburg, that's part of the "Copperhead Loop" Nice curves out there! 90 past Cumberland Falls is a great road if you can miss the tourists, and the KY Rattlesnake isn't far to the north, between Somerset and London. 790 from Monticello up to Somerset is really nice too. East of I-75 and it gets even better.
We did a "Danger Noodle Rally" last year and ran 790 up to the Rattlesnake, then over to Manchester (great burger at Pat's Snack Shop), and ran 421 (The Snake) down to near Cumberland Gap. That was a solid 500+ mile day, and it was great... until the monsoon hit as we turned west in Cawood KY. hahaha! We have to do that again without the storms.
