I have been wanting to try those, but I end up getting S23s which last a few years for the way I ride anyway. I guess I need to put more miles on and quit working so much.

I've run the T-30s and 32s on other bikes and find the grip and wear fine for how I ride. My Tracer GT has a T-32 rear with an S-22 front currently. Used that combo on my old 2001 FZ1 and never had traction issues, even up the mountains. The XSR came with S-22's and I like them fine.
The new T-33s are supposed to have even more grip and wear life. We'll see. Bonus points for costing less than the Michelin Road 5's and 6's.
My FZ1 now has fresh tires, all fluids flushed and filled and fresh spark plugs. Ready to roll.
It's been too hot to ride much this summer but the weather is finally improving here in Fla.

Beautiful bike. There was one like that for sale here in the Atlanta area a few years ago that I had to force myself not to buy.
Well done and tastefully modified.

I actually went out for a ride to a couple of dealers ,One in NYC and One In NJ. Looked at a low mileage 2019 FJR then went to another dealer to look at a Suzuki GSXS 1000GT+( What a mouth full) I test rode both as I was thinking of maybe trading up to a newer bike again. The FJR was really nice,but felt heavy and a little clumsy compared to the FZ1.
Suzuki wasn't any better then my FJR. My GEN1 felt like it had more low end then the Suzuki and pulled just as hard. I did like the TFT screen,cruise control and fuel injection,but I left with my bike back home. The sales man was checking out my bike the whole time . Lol

Arranged a Business meeting in the cafe at an Aerodrome about an hour from me on Friday, and as it looked like the rain would hold off, I took the bike. A nice mix of dual carriageway and country twisties! After a month of not riding due to travel and family stuff it was great to blow the cobwebs away (and get paid for it!)
The Cafe is in the new Control Tower (in the background) and has a balcony with tables on it for when it is warm and sunny. Due to Turweston's proximity to Silverstone Race track they often test cars and bikes on the runway there too.
Chris, the Airport Manager is a biker, but wasn't in on Friday (was off flying!)

Was going to go for an awesome ride today, despite the fact that I need a new front tire. Rolled her out, turned the key and click, click, click.
El cheapo ebay battery is a paperweight.
Looked at my notes and I installed it three years ago. My last cheapo battery lasted five.
Got on my Honda as a backup plan and found a caliper covered in fork oil.
Worked on my Fiesta ST instead of riding.

Some days do be like that...
Nirvana like temps yesterday in Mass (73-80) with low humidity. Got in 225 miles on the same old roads. Actually temps are projected to be nice for a while. Leaves are changing early due to lack of end summer rain.spyd3rm4n

When those things happen I take that as a sign you weren't meant to ride that day.
Those Fiesta STa are really nice. Definitely underappreciated, but those who know, know.

My brother was visiting me, which makes it great to have two bikes. Took a nice ride up Angeles Crest Highway, a very scenic and iconic motorcycling road in L.A. Apparently Sundays during football season are a great time to ride because we barely encountered any other vehicles. Weather was absolutely perfect too, not too hot and just slightly on the cooler side at 6000', couldn't have asked for anything better.
The FZ was amazing. The Harley surprised me quite a bit, despite the massive weight it's very nimble. We switched back and forth a bit, both are extremely fun. I was taking turns at the same speed with both bikes without issue; a spirited pace well within our limits. We were both blown away by how well the Harley handled the curves, only scraped the floorboards once then quickly adjusted to using more body lean.

Yeah, it's so much fun to drive. Like a luxury go kart. Almost as much fun as my motorcycles and it's got AC.
Got out for a nice ride Saturday. I figured it would be good to get out after 3 years and do a little "tourist in my back yard" stuff. Abe Lincoln's birth place and childhood home are pretty close to the north. I couldn't do a lot of time there... just check it out, because the wife wanted to cage up there later... As I was putting the route together, I see several bourbon distilleries in Bardstown, and the Maker's Mark distillery in Loretto, KY. I figured I would got there, since there were more curves nearby. What the heck... maybe a new country store along the way???
I headed up toward Wisdom, KY and Young and Shirley's Country Store. This store was in the family of one of the Kentucky Headhunters and he still owns it. No longer in business, but it was pretty cool. I finally got a bike pic in front. There's not much for parking here.
Moving on down the road, I came upon an old friend... the Huber Atwells Country Store. This one was open until 2008, and was operated by Mr Atwell for the entire 50+ years. Pascal, KY
And then there was the new one... the Hudgins Community General Store, up pretty close to Loretto. I'm not sure this one is still open... could be... Seems well kept and cigarette buts around the butt cans at the outdoor tables... Hmm...
Sorry about that one. I can rotate 90 degrees, but when I put the pic in here, it seems to only be rotated 180...

Ok, from there, I headed up to Abe Lincoln's birthplace NP. They have some nice paved walking trails, and a bit museum building that was built in the 1920s I think, to house what they thought at the time was the actual cabin that Lincoln was born in. it turns out that wasn't the case, but it's supposed to be similar. I didn't do the visitors center, but did chat with an old guy that was headed home from visiting family. Home was SE AZ. He was on a nice and shiny Victory... a really big Victory.

From there, we headed to Loretto and Maker's Mark. The visitor's center is in the hills and trees, and visibility is nearly zIp... It looks like I'll have to come back for an official tour. I did get a shot of the original Grist mill, The original distillery was a few miles out of town, but they seem to have expanded into town as well. These huge buildings appear to be maybe again buildings or some kind of process buildings, but they were huge, and there were a lot of them!
All in all... a great day. About 250 miles and some longer stops made is a longer day. Perfect weather and a great day!

Awesome day of riding! The Victory motorcycles are nice but getting parts is likely to start being a headache.
I enjoyed the ride... somewhere up above I said "And then there was the new one... the Hudgins Community General Store"... So where is it, you might ask????
The amazing thing was that I actually went for the ride thinking I would find things AND take pictures... and I did! It was just one of those days when I felt like I just had nothing but time, a great bike, cool scenery and some curves.

You can't ask for a better day than that!
Rode over to Barber Motorsports Park during the Vintage Festival. All I did was walk around the museum. If you haven't ever been there, it's well worth a trip. Even though I live only a couple of hours away this was my first visit. I'll admit I was a bit overwhelmed at first.
