I remember those days. Now, however, I enjoy the ease and comfort of staying dry on a daily commute as opposed to being blasted by the elements and dealing with all the wet mess when I get to work. I love riding, but I don't get carried away with the hardcore thing anymore.

Cut my windscreen down further and put on a 16t sprocket. Started to leave in my truck this morning, saw the sunshine so I did a re-check on the weather. The bike is sitting outside my office.

Thanks, Dustin. That's pretty much what I thought I was supposed to be looking at, but every thread on every forum I'd visit always focused on touring tires so it seemed like I was doing something wrong by not looking at them for this type of bike...

What category of tires should I be focusing on if my only concern is for dry weather traction on city streets and twisty back roads? In my research it seems all the sport touring tires focus quite a bit on wet weather performance, which to me, indicates that if it's good at everything then...

Although I'm a Honda fan at heart, and have wanted a VFR for a while, the riding position on these appears to be a bit more aggressive than I'd like (my 500R was just right), and the Interceptor is just plain too expensive compared to what I'm willing to part with for a bike.
