Even if such childish intentions are true, somehow it seems unfitting of a high caliber champion. I guess I just can't stand the wining and I though Rossi was above it all.
First Marc, knowingly throwing a hail mary at Assen then bitching about the ruling. Then Jorge crying about the weather...
I always send off old tires with some doughnuts or a smoke screen. As long as you're being safe, it's a lot more fun that just paying the 5 buck disposal fee. Congrats on the new baby. :icon_beer:
First time at Thunderhill and first track day in months (i.e. I'm more than the usual slow). With just over 35k the FZ reminds me, the money was well spent.

I agree with Dustin about loose head bearings. They might not be worn but just loose if you ride on bumpy roads. However I used to get the same issue with the stock rear shock. When I upgraded with Satin's adapter and 08 R1 shock it helped a lot. Then I had it tuned and I haven't felt it ever...
Electrical tape or heavy 3M rubber tape. It is indeed a crude fix, but it works. I had to do it on my old Suzuki. You just have to re tape after every clutch adjustment.
I used them to commute everyday so I'd day about 5k. My canvas converse have twice as many miles. I'm curious to see if HAIL has see the same issues on his?
After a year of riding they are, unsurprisingly, not worth it. Here is why: The stitching is worthless (see pics). Furthermore the screws back out over time. So in a crash they will likely disintegrate. They seem to run a size bigger than advertised and the replaceable armor literally just melts...
The thing with Chinese steel is that it varies greatly. They might work well under most conditions but might literally shatter if your going hard in the twisties or on the track. The numerous heat cycles harden your rotors while removing material, so all rotors will eventually be at risk of...
My first instructor at a Putnam track day told me the heel was catch your outside boot while cornering. Not sure how much validity that really has but I did tend to have a problem with my foot sliding off the peg without heels. So now all my boots have a small heel.

Do the oil, filter yourself. Then just have the tire replaced. 2500 miles should be easy after that. Do the plugs your self when you get back. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, three hours of labor seems about right(must be a high hourly rate). Its nice to no be worrying about...
