Hello,
I crashed my bike some time ago but pulled some parts off before insurance picked it up and looking to let someone else use them. All parts are off my now gone 2009 FZ1.
I would also prefer local because I hate shipping, at least for larger items. If anything is shipped, shipping is on...
I wasn't thrilled with the stock seat, did a few 350 plus mile days on it, it was not the worst seat I have sat on. I had my seat done up by Eddie, dirt road, and it is a way better. I have since done many 500 mile days and had no butt fatigue. Some other long day of riding stiffness but the...
My sv buddies are either heading to Mt lemon by Tucson tomorrow or hitting up Prescott. It will probably be lemon though
We tossed the super loop idea, but with the fires in sedona, we didn't want to get in the way or be in all that smoke.
You have my number if you decide to change direction...
the local SV folks I ride with tend to do this just about every year, several of us more than once per year. It is usually our annual AZ SV Rally.
I seriously love the riding out there, i was a little slower on the heavier FZ1, but it is just ridiculous on the little SV.
I'm not sure if...
i have used this on my SV, hooked up the wiring kit for the head lights and my rewired R/R.
it was super simple and hides right under the seat. I haven't added any additional circuits to the FZ yet though, when I do I will likely pick up another one or just take it off the SV
Good luck...
i think you have AZ confused, we dont have loose standards, we have NO standards. sometimes its like the end of a night of drinkin and there is that ugly girl at the end of the bar, and well..... :dontknow:
we dont "need" turn signals. on my WR that would be a luxury. hand signals work just...
here in AZ, its pretty simple to get a dirt bike street legal. my WR450 is street legal, we i have it tagged for the street. i dont technically "legal" since ididnt hook up a horn or a hi beam head light. i have all the stuf to do it, but i just never got around to it.
i still put mine in...
I may not be the fastest person on the track, but i have never been bored. too much fun!
but if i had to choose my SV vs the GF's D675, i would pick the D675.
I will throw my 2cents in as well.
I bought my FZ1 to replace my SV650. the SV is now my track bike. I was like you and tired of swapping street parts for track parts and while my Road 2's are great street tires, the aren't so great on the track.
I would also throw something to think...
