The noise is only with a cold engine. It goes away above 120 coolant temp. It oddly starts a second or two after the engine starts. Im ASSuming its the stator but im not sure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LqiarK2oxQ

with Ivans kit, not long in summer it will idle good in about 10 sec of choke. in winter, about a minute:)

Bought me a new FZ1 and dont have room for two! Its a 2003 Silver model 18,900mi New tank, Fairings, inner and outer. Brand new (2 days old) Yoshi TRS Slip-on Ivan's Jet kit, runs like a dream. New OEM chain with new sprockets 15/46 Corbin seat, Ignition advancer, brand new DP front pads...

Also what is the throttle position sensor adjustment actually changing on these bikes? Cant see how it would change fuel at all. So spark advance? I had adjusted the tps back when I put Ivans kit in. I was reading too high so I adjusted it down to read 5k. I have this slight burble off idle, so...

set it to 14.5mm as specified in your kit, maybe I screwed it up.

after taking a right leaning turn when getting back into the throttle slightly, but doesnt do it when going left. Any ideas? Floats maybe?
