    According to Ivan's dyno charts Gen 1 motors reach peak power at about 10,000rpm stock. A header and pipe increases this to 10,500. Gen 2 motors reach peak power at 11,500. The Gen 1 loses considerable power above 10,500. I haven't extrapolated what your sprocket change does to RPM/Speed...

    Yes, but if you are running stock headers you don't want to do it. Exup serves no purpose on the Gen II, but does so on the Gen 1, It will run poorly without Exup.

    Don't know anybody making a 4-2-1 anymore now that Yoshimura has quitting making them. I think Arrow makes headers, don't know about 4-2-1. Dale Walker Holeshot makes a very nice 4-1 header, though not titanium. Holeshot Performance Products, Inc.
