2015 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

We now know MM's weak spot....he doesn't like to play catch up. MM's success over the last couple of years was leading from the start (with the strongest bike) and running away from the pack. Now that Yamaha has caught up with their new machine Lorenzo and Rossi are now able to qualify well and then lead from the start. Marquez has repeatedly tripped himself up by playing catch up and then overcooking it and crashing. I don't think there is a rider today who can keep up with Lorenzo on a lap by lap basis, he is smooth as silk and can run fast laps all day long. Marquez's confidence is now dented so he needs to pick himself up and get back in the fray, but he isn't as strong a rider as the last couple of years would indicate when confronted with riders on equal machinery. Interesting season.

It seems that Honda is just struggling full stop. Marquez seems to be the only rider who can ride it fast but he's got to run it right on the limit to keep up with Lorenzo and Rossi. Before the race Marc said he's got to take risks and won't settle for anything but the win. Dani did get a podium today but I think that's only because Ducati was just way off the pace this weekend. A crash from Dovi is very rare indeed, the bike must have been absolutely terrible this weekend.

Interesting post-race comments from Rossi. He mentioned that he has finally matched the pace of Lorenzo and feels that he can challenge for the win with a better qualifying result.

4 in a row for Lorenzo! 1 point behind Rossi for the championship! Incredible

M&M needs to develop strategy otherwise he's going to find himself so far out of it he won't have a chance. He's got to finish the race to score points, he's got to score points to be in the mix for a championship. An all or nothing attitude will get him nothing.

As much as I want to see Rossi win the Championship, It's amazing to watch Lorenzo ride. He looks like he's going so slow cause he's just that smooth. And I just loved the 328kph trap speed (203.8mph) on the long straightaway. Friggin Fast! I felt bad for Dovi today. I wanted him to do well.

Did anyone see this incredible save by Sam Lowes in Moto2?

I find it amazing that when everything works for a rider they become one with the machine and with the right luck they can't be stopped. MM was like this last year and now it's Lorenzo again just like it used to be Rossi, Stoner etc.

Lorenzo was damn lucky MM didn't hit him-that was as close as it gets :jaw drop:

Agree with Pete, all or nothing isn't a good place to be.

Yep I saw that Lowes incident, I think I commented about it on the other forum.

I'm Happy Jorge has finally got all his ducks lined up and hope he can win the championship. MM all or nothing attitude show's his immaturity I think. He was lucky the last 2 years and I don't think he would have won his 1st championship if Danny & Jorge were fit all season.

Lorenzo is the master of the fast start.
I expect him to be near the front by the first few corners.
It's really shaping up to be a great race.
