Thanks, I picked up a parts bike at the same time with much nicer chrome and black parts.
Any suggestions on mufflers. I want something that looks erra correct.

My winter project hopefully gets done lickety-split. I was laid off from my employer after 15 years last week...the next day the insurance bill came in the mail. Good timing, I guess (I have been accused in the past of being an optimist!) Called my agent and told him I'd be storing the bike for the winter, and to not renew the policy.
My baby sitting in the garage on the battery tender and covered should be a good motivator to get gainful employment again...and soon! There's always plenty of good days in the winter here despite the snow we get, once it melts and the sand has gone to the side of the road, a nice 60 degree January day is SO MUCH FUN!
