What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

Been looking for a new tank bag for the Tenere, no magnets or straps. Was a snap to install, the snap in locking system is Bitchin. Even comes with a drill bit and template. Took about 15 minutes while I sipped on a brew. This is there Day Pack, it telescopes up to.

I installed the same kit except a little different bag. Same gas tank lock ring though, so much better than magnets or straps.

I thought the clutch went but the waterpump seal went and I have coolant in the oil ,so I needed a new clutch. then there are these coolant hoses with cheap clamps underneath the throttlebodies so I will fix those synch the throttleboddies and put a new set of plugs on. I lost my best friend of over 35 years to lung cancer and im completely 5150 good thing GOD looks out for the crazy and ugly

Suspension on CRF150R

I worked on the suspension on the CRF150R the other day. Billy and I did the rear shock and I did the forks. Changed the springs to match my weight and new fork oil after the first break in rides.

Thanks for the kind words guys !! my best friend was a lifelong Boncos fan and he died 4 days before the superbowl, one of my riding buddies is going down with stage 4 bladder cancer AND I lost three other friends unexpectedly this year. OH yeah and my thirty year son is a career criminal so I cant help him or see my grandson. 5150 = criminally insane = im really close ride safe everyone!!

Sorry for your loss Lonney. A little mechanical therapy usually works for me.

Hey Lonney, sorry to open the can of worms. I had no idea. Sorry about for dear friend. Any consolation, he's in a better place and not suffering anymore, and he lives forever in his friend's hearts. We'll have to cheer you up with a nice ride with Brian and the gang soon!! Now get that bike back together pal.

My battery has been slowly dying so I did a test last night and determined it was time to replace it. The stock battery is a generic YTZ12S and the previous owner replaced it before I bought it back in October '13. I opted for the higher CCA YTZ14S that was put in the ST1300 and I expect I'll get another ~3 years. I guess I can't complain considering that it sees pretty heavy duty use. The YTZ14S should make starting in winter a bit easier as I was struggling with that a lot this year.

I also bled my clutch. I'll do the brakes next. :)

Front brakes serviced today but I'll leave the bleed until later as it's a bit of a hassle. There's a specific process and about 7 points to bleed thanks to the linked brakes.

I bought a Mityvac several years ago. then push the fluid through with the lever a few times to finish, works great.

I've got a length of hose with a one-way valve that makes it fairly painless but it's just so many things to bleed. I may not do the 'full monty' this time and just flush the master cylinder and lines the quick way.
