What are you listening to right now?

This has been a fun thread on other pages I have been on over the years.

Listening to the 2 songs released today from Stone Sour. Their new album is coming out soon.

Corey Taylor is an Iowa boy. Born in Des Moines and raised a good chunk of his life in Waterloo. Met him a couple times while out and about. Hell once in a Hy-Vee Grocery store. Pretty cool guy.

I listen to both of the bands he is in. Stone Sour and Slip Knot.

My musical taste has changed a lot over the years but I never stop enjoying RATM

I like anything from Heavy Metal through to R&B. I'm not particular about what I listen to these days. It depends upon my mood.

I've been strictly Country for the last 12 or 13 years. I do however have to listen to classic rock while at work cause that's what they have on the stereo there.

I am a Velocity channel junkie. No better channel for gearheads and no PRE-PAID PROGRAMMING in the wee hours of the morn.....

As am I, except for Fantom Works! Can't stand that show. Once I first saw his "brake test" I couldn't watch anymore. He acts like every car that comes in there is a basket case because of someone else's shoddy work and if he can't "flat spot" your tires, your brakes are not up to par. Worst car show on TV! My TV never leaves Velocity except for Supercross and MotoGP. Oh, and I share time with the Fishing Channel.

All of these shows have their quirks as well as being over-produced (There is NO WAY Overhaulin does what they do in two weeks.... EVER). But, most of them, I'd take a car from or take a car too because I know it would be done correctly. Dan is certainly annoying but when you get a car from him, you know it is safe and done right, inside and out. Same with Foose and Mark Worman (who I cannot stand as a person but no one knows MOPAR better). I have issues with each show but each offers something worthy of watching regardless. I used to like Wheeler Dealers but now with Edd gone, I'll not watch it again. I will wait for Edd to come out with a show. Velocity got that one wrong... we wanted to see more of what Edd was doing and less of what Mike was up to, not the other way around. Who cares about used car sales and negotiation? Not me! I want to see things being worked on, fixed, wrenched, etc....

I could go on and on about all those shows but the end result is, I'll watch them all for various reasons. :D

Hahahahaha!!!! I love Mark Worman!!! He's the best!! Funny as heck. Always keeps me laughing. I agree with you that "production" is what spoils these really good shows. Look at Two Guys Garage, those two drive me nuts with their overacting. It's unbearable to me. Just wrench on the cars and tell me what your doing and that's it. That's why PowerBlock on Sunday mornings is the best set of shows. "Detroit Muscle", "Trucks", "Extreme Offroad", are totally awesome.
