i have just traded my 2007 suzuki bandit for a new 2012 fz-1.the bandit was a great bike 25,000mi.no problems.the fz-1 makes the bandit feel dated and me feel young again:shine:

Congrats on the FZ1. I'd love to hear about the Bandit. What year and what size (1200cc I assume?) and of course color (or colour for some of the other members). What are the major differences. I'm sure the Bandit had way more low and mid range, but no top end (opposite with the FZ1). Was it a wheelie machine? (I can't get the FZ1 to wheelie with standard sprockets), but the '01 Pilot8127 used to have (and YZFRiderNY/FZ1RiderNY before him) with the sprocket changes (was that 1 down in front and 2 or 3 up in the back?) would wheelie in 1-3 as I found out... :eek5: Thanks Pilot8127 :evillaugh:
