TWS 041011 - Locked, Cocked and Ready to Rock!

Fz1-forum members all safe and sound after 2 sessions. In the second round of level 1 someone highsided and had to be transported to te hospital. He was on a busa and got on the throttle (as all Nysa riders do) coming out of turn six.

After 2 sessions my tires are scuffed up more than they ever have been. They look COOL! :)

A Few Photos

I never whipped out my GoPro but Pyrogenic did and I am sure he will post up some video later. Hellgate says he got some video also from Level 2 sessions.

Below is a map of TWS. The red area is the configuration we ride.

We had a great day. Our folks kept the rubber side down. There were at least 4 wrecks in lvl 1 and one of those required transport to the hospital. That basically shut the track down until the ambulance returned. Early lunch! That individual was on a busa and just got on the throttle way to hard coming out of turn 6. He lost the rear but let go rather than trying to hang on and be catapulted off in what surely would have been a horrible high side. I spoke to one of his friends at the end of the day. He had a concussion and was staying in the hospital over night but is fine.

I had one run off right after turn 11 going about 60 mph through gravel and open field. Just very light pressure on rear brakes and I just enjoyed the ride. Did not go down. Believe it or not I hope the professional photographer got a shot of that.

First in line at TWS - 5:30 am

Our setup near pit out before Jeff's new $250 canopy died a horrible death.

Front and rear tires after session six. This may not be a big deal for a few of you but I am excited because it is my first time to ever make a set of tires look like this. :)

That was some awesome shots Brad. I'm really glad that you guys had a good time and that all made it back safely. You and Pyro could actually be brothers! Haha! I can't wait to see the "prof" pics and some video. It should be really cool.

Hey - I got home about an hour and a half about. I called in Chinese in route and I was home 5 minutes and dinner arrived.

I managed to get 7 minutes of Go Pro about 3 laps before the camera stopped. I didn't get a chance to put in new batteries in. :disapproval: The first two laps are warm up but it will give you a good idea of the track.

You Tube is processing now, maybe 20 more minutes.

Brad I enjoyed meeting you and Jeff, we need to do this again something.

What I want to know is what the heck happened to the canopy????!!!!!

That was Jeff's, I never set mine up. I managed to get a paddock area within a large metal "barn." I've got a couple photos to show that area. I just need the video to finish processing so I can remove my memory card and put the other in.
