I thought the point of switching to LED bulbs, which generally produce less light then the incandescent bulbs they replace was that they drew less energy.
If these LEDs require the same curent (amperage) draw as stock, why use LED bulbs and not the brighter incandescent bulbs.
You have it a little backwards.
LED's generally are a LOT brighter than incandescent bulbs, and they DO draw a lot less power.
But the point of doing it has nothing at all to do with current draw as it is such a small amount of power it makes no difference. However, they LOOK better and depending on the brand you get they have a more favorable flash.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I am on this?
