Tuono mirrors on a FZ1N

This afternoon I fit yet another set of mirrors to my 2010 FZ1N.

This time I went for Aprilia Tuono mirrors which cost me $84 from Bikebiz here in Sydney.

They work really well and look way better than the stock mirrors.

The are both right hand threads, so they won't fit a stock FZ1N's master cylinder mount which has a left hand thread.

I have an R6 master cylinder so I had to buy a Rizoma mirror mount to get them to fit.

Aren't those great mirrors? I have a set on my XV920R.

They are a popular mod for many naked bikes.

They seem to carry across the entire Aprilia range; Tuono, Mana, Dorsoduro, Shiver etc all have them.

I went for a decent ride today and I'm really impressed with these Aprilia mirrors.

The rear and peripheral view is excellent.

I've used stock, CRG arrow bar end mirrors, a couple of sets of cheap Chinese mirrors, Barracuda Street mirrors, copy Rizoma Tomok mirrors and finally these Aprilia mirrors.

For $84 AUD; these mirrors are awesome and are the best I've used so far.

They actually work and do what a mirror is supposed to do.

To be quite honest, the stock FZ1N mirrors also work well but they look like crap.
The Aprilia mirrors work and look good doing it too

I too got annoyed with not being able to see anything behind me after fitting Rizoma copies to m bike! So after scouring eBay I now have these! They were a bargain and have the correct threaded bolts too. Fit a lot better than the previous ones!
