Are they all similar, say the $4 two piece ones from fleabay similar to the one piece ones, named brands better than no name or all just a muchness of a muchness

I like the delrin spools - I have the M-factory spools and they resist scuffing from my paddock stand.

I agree with old sparks, buy delrin ones as the alloy ones scratch up big time from the paddock stand.

I have two piece ones in alloy and yep, they are scratched up, but it doesn't bother me, I don't spend any time looking at them.

Looks like cheap ones from flea bay will be the go , then a rear stand

I like the sharp rear stands. Aussie made and really well built. The only thing I would recommend is to take the wheel bolts out and put some thread lock on them. Peter stealers in town sell them if you want to go through them, or order direct. Yamaha world could probably get you one, if you bought your bike through them they usually give you a discount.

Had a look on their site, certainly looks like a quality unit, more so that some of the cheaper imported ones, Yamaha world does get me about 10% off if I choose to buy accessories etc through them, will enquire when I take the bike in for its last service next month

If I get silver/alloy coloured ones won't see any scrathes, anyway for $6 have not much to lose
