Shoei Qwest or Shoei RF-1100 Helmet

i am in the market for a new lid as well and i am looking at the rf-1100 and the bell rs-1. anyone have any experience with the bell?

Nope on the Bell, but I have been using my RF-1100 for two seasons now and LOVE IT!

The Qwest is fairly quiet! Like others have said, the upright riding position on the FZ and the stock screen make it louder than it could be without tilting your head forward. Also the airflow creates an annoying whistling sound for me, when riding over 20mph with the visor open!

Other than that, I've been very impressed with it.

No Bell expierence but I did pick up a RF1100 recently and I love it!

I own 4 or 5 helmets. The RF1100 is the only one I use.

I own the Shoei XR-1100 and the Shoei TZ-X. The TZ-X is by far the more comfortable and quieter helmet for my head. My wife also has the TZ-X.

Remember the visor can be adjusted. If it is making wind noise, it probably isn't set correctly.
