So, we took off with some friends to the Crescent City, CA area. Two Harleys (a fat boy and a road king), V Star 1100 and me on the FZ1. I felt suspicioulsy like the flamboyantly gay uncle at a wedding...and loved it.

It was my first longish trip on the FZ1, and I have to say that it is a great distance bike (I have several 1500K trips on my VStar 1300); I just need to add some way to carry my stuff!

This is the river pic. We were just home from an 1100 mile trip on the cruisers, and were taking some friends from California out to one of our best local roads, FR 19 (the Aufderheide). I got on the FZ1 for that little scoot.

That looks like a great trip! California is definetly on the list to visit. And I found the FZ1 to be a great bike to take long trips on....I just need a new seat!
