Hey All

I'm a newbie here, so please be gentle.

I'm UK based and have been thinking about buying a FZ1, early model, Gen 1 ?
Bandits just seem so bland........... lol

I have around £1500 to spend and would like to know if a reliable roadworthy bike could be got for this money.

What are the weaknesses/problems ? EXUP valves ? Other ?

Do the rear suspension linkages have grease nipples ?

What is the service interval for valve clearances ?

Any other advice is very welcome.

26,000 miles(about 39,000K) for the valve inspection. No nipples anywhere. Spend some time reading on this site an on the fz1oa site. FZ1OA Message Board - Powered by vBulletin This will help you pick a good used bike. You may have to save a little more to get a good used FZ1. Things aren't cheap in the UK.
