Lookin for an Exhaust

The pipe that makes the most "noise" usually doesn't have the best tone nor make the best power. If you are serious about performance then Akrapovic and MIVV are a couple of the best. If all you want is noise, just start chopping. But, you won't be making any power either.

Welcome the Forum R1guy -- did you leave the FZ's big brother to come to a more comfortable yet capable ride??

http://www.998cc.org/forum/gen-ii/929-wealth-exhaust-info.html

to give you a list of many choices....and sound clilps to boot!

But another to add to the list is Twin Brothers --

I ride a gen I -- and the MIVV GP Shorty is AWESOME. Lonerider59 rides a GenII -- and I'm still a fan of the MIVV can.

LeoVince is another possibility...

The Leo Vince and the Micron (no longer in business from what I heard) are loud pipes with the baffle out. You can just tell they'll be loud by the small canister volume...

I have to say my R-77 is a little loud at idle and in town w/o the baffle. On the highway it gets drowned out by the wind noise.

No baffle :D
