I'm back on a Yamaha 1000

ah, yes, i've seen those on SBU.com
that's actually an 07/08 r1 pictured there at the top of page.
i believe the ycc-t intro for r6 was 06, and the r1 was 07.
good to hear, my man. i'll talk with SBU about getting this.

If you go this route, Dynojet now makes a single two way switch. If you have a regular quick shifter sell it and get the two way so you aren't stacking switches. It only a couple of dollars more than the standard.

Went to Jennings in Florida to get a feel for the 16 R1 and all I can say is wow. After riding and racing an R6 for the last couple of year I have some adjusting to do. It literally feels like the R6 on turn in and transitions but feels more stable mid corner. Oh the power is ridiculous. The rate of acceleration is something I had a tough time wrapping my head around. To the point I was rolling out of throttle to soon because I had no idea of what my speed was.. Its going to be a fun year. VIR in March baby, super fast.

looks like you need some black forks to complete your color scheme.
how those wheels feel? dunno what you're used to running, forged or cast...

Doing some vinyl in the near future so it won't be all matte black. I didn't push it hard enough to feel the difference in transitions (also coming off of an R6 so it will be hard to compare) also the wheels are Magnesium. Pretty light from the factory.
